Thanks to the logging introduced in D5293334 (or because of, depending on your liking of spam), I noticed that there lots of errors being logged of the form
Couldn't read multilink file '/home/jul/infer/infer/tests/codetoanalyze/cpp/errors/infer-out/attributes/d0/multilink.txt': /home/jul/infer/infer/tests/codetoanalyze/cpp/errors/infer-out/attributes/d0/multilink.txt: No such file or directory
I don't think it makes sense to care about multilink files except when `--merge` is specified.
Also introduced a .mli and self-documented a function.

Summary:
Let's try this one more time.
- change build-infer.sh so that it also tries to init opam even if a switch is
specified. This shouldn't matter according to my testing and that means that
it's easier to have `./build-infer.sh --opam-switch 4.04.0` work out of the box
without needing to initialise the `4.04.0` opam switch ourselves beforehand.
- use that in .travis.yml

Forgot to substitute "infer" for "infer-lock-deps" and so `make opam.lock` was
failing if `infer` has not been manually pinned (which I didn't notice
previously because I had it git-pinned for some reason...).
